A total of 1,513 out of 2,506 passed the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine this month, the Professional Regulation Commission announced Thursday evening. Marlon Diaz Garcia, a graduate of the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, topped the test with a rating of 88.75 percent. The University of the Philippines-Manila has the highest passing rate among schools with 100 or more examinees at 98 percent. Only three test-takers failed to pass the exam.
